Responsibilities

As a member of our team, your day-to-day work will involve:

• Contributing new features and maintaining a web application enabling innovative cyber security approaches.
• Building, maintaining and integrating clean, efficient back-end systems, including RESTful APIs.
• Writing and maintaining robust unit tests, with a strong focus on code coverage and reliability.
• Collaborating closely with teammates to foster a productive, positive working environment.

Requirements

We’re looking for candidates with the following:

• Strong TypeScript & React skills.
• Proficient in Python for backend development.
• A 2.1 or above Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,  or a related field.
• Ability to quickly pick up and work with new technologies.
• Any summer internships or open-source projects would be a big plus.
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Bonus Points:
  • Knowledge of any of the following technologies: Flask, Git, GraphQL, SQL, Docker, Cypress, Ansible, Linux.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts
  • Familiarity with computer networking, cyber security, and the defence industry.
  • Familiarity with industry standard practices for documentation (OpenAPI)
